Wise Readers to Leaders

Through the Sonnenberg family’s shared passion for reading, Andrea started a literacy program for underserved students. Bradley was extremely proud of this work and actively participated as a volunteer. Over the years, this organization has provided thousands of students with literacy support inspired by Bradley’s belief in the power of reading. The Bradley Sonnenberg Remote Reading Program, newly created to honor Bradley’s memory, is a literacy and mentorship program pairing K-5th grade students with a high school student volunteer for weekly phone/Zoom reading sessions.
